Viewfinity is Recognized in Network World’s “Products of the Week”

by Mary Rose 12. August 2011 13:20
Viewfintiy Privilege Management was included in Network World’s  “Products of the Week” on July 25, 2011.  We also were chosen for the cover page, nice!  The key feature noted in Network World’s round-up was Viewfinity’s Application Admin Rights Analysis which provides extensive analysis to determine user needs and prepare the environment before administrative rights are removed. Based on end user activity collected over a period of time, Viewfinity silently monitors which applications and processes will require administrative permission (before users are removed from the local admin group.)  Once the collection and analysis is completed, policies to elevate privileges are automatically created and prepared in advance so that when administrative rights are removed, the policies are in place to ensure a non-disruptive move to least privileges.    Click here to learn What Else is New at Viewfinity.

About Viewfinity

Viewfinity provides privilege management and application control for desktops, laptops and servers, empowering enterprises to meet compliance mandates, reduce security risks, and lower IT costs. Many enterprises are implementing least privileges to add a solid layer of defense for desktop environments, further protecting against malware and Advanced Persistent Threats. Viewfinity allows IT Administrators to create and enforce default-deny and elevated permission policies for endpoint access to applications and desktop functions by controlling user rights for desktops and mobile laptop/netbook users.
