Support Engineer
Viewfinity is looking for highly skilled, focused, and well-organized individuals to join our premier support team. Our customers deserve expert advice in resolving issues. A qualified candidate will be a quick study, pay close attention to detail and be passionate about helping others. This person will interact with sales, engineering, and other groups within the organization. You should be comfortable in a startup environment, interfacing directly with customers on the phone, via e-mail and chat.
This is a broad role with responsibilities including:
- Interface directly with customers to resolve any potential issues with downloading, installing, and using the Viewfinity products
- Assist in the resolution of customer support requests, which range from quick answers to complicated bug diagnosing and workaround requests
- Modify and verify schemas, SQL statements, and load or query scripts
- Manage multiple accounts and case loads simultaneously, while also determining and managing priorities
- Coordinate cases and responses among the required specialists within Viewfinity
- Utilize and contribute to Viewfinity's support request and tracking system
- Communicate and log product feature requests from customers
A qualified candidate must have:
- Windows skills, scripting experience, and extensive knowledge of SQL
- Attention to detail, acute listening, and the ability to resolve and communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner
- At least 3-4 years of professional experience working in a high-tech support role
Education Required
- Bachelor's or MS degree equivalent in computer science
