Viewfinity Provides Virtual Hosted Client Machines to Make Software Evaluation Even Easier
Waltham, MA January 26, 2009 — Viewfinity, the principal provider of laptop and desktop virtualization software, announced today the availability of its virtual lab, complete with end point client machines, for Viewfinity software evaluation purposes. Setting up test environments usually falls under the IT Operations folks who are already overloaded with work. We provide the virtual hosted client machine and SaaS platform so IT Operations do not need to invest precious time and effort building the back-end infrastructure or client desktop environment just for testing purposes.
The virtual hosted desktop lab is accessible via remote terminal access. Windows desktop, Microsoft Office and other standard applications are available for testing. Evaluators can also install any custom applications or other applications from the web. The test environment can be further expanded by adding internal desktops into the same test environment. Once the testing is concluded, the Viewfinity software can be easily uninstalled and the client machines and applications are reverted back to the original state.
